Former NBCC board member Lev Grossman, who was one of the NBCC's Standup Book Critics at this year's PEN World Voices 'Festival, and a contestant in the NBCC Stump the Critic Litcrawl contest at the Texas Book Fair in Austin last month, along with Meghan O'Rourke and Chad Harbach (did we tell you that Meghan O'Rourke was the champ!? now you know), is back onstage on Thursday night at PEN's WestBeth Fall Literary Tasting. He'll be reading from The Magician King, sequel to The Magicians, his “Harry Potter for grownups.”
