This is a Brooklyn Book Festival Bookend Event. \n\n\n\nThe National Book Critics Circle presents a panel discussion on both the craft of literary criticism and new opportunities for book critics in today’s challenging environment. She is a contributing editor at The Yale Review and is the author of A Life of One’s Own: Nine Women Writers Begin Again. \nEmily Greenhouse is the editor of the New York Review of Books. She is the former managing editor of The New Yorker. She serves on the advisory board of the National Book Critics Circle. \nJoumana Khatib is an editor and writer at The New York Times Book Review\, and began her career at The Times over a decade ago. She writes a twice-weekly newsletter about publishing and literature\, and is a frequent guest on the Book Review‘s podcast. \nZoë Hu is the managing editor of n+1. She has written criticism and essays for the Baffler\, the Washington Post\, Bookforum\, and other places. \nAdam Dalva’s writing has appeared in The New Yorker\, The Paris Review\, The New York Times\, and The New York Review of Books.
