National Book Critics Circle Announces Longlist Committee for First Annual Gregg Barrios Book in Translation Prize, Barrios Submissions Now Live

The National Book Critics Circle is pleased to announce the longlist reading committee for the 2022 Gregg Barrios Book in Translation Prize. 

In the coming months, this group will create a longlist of books that will then be evaluated by all interested NBCC members. Barrios finalists will be announced in January and a winner in March at the NBCC awards ceremony.

Starting with the 2022 publishing year, the Gregg Barrios Book in Translation Prize will honor the best book of any genre translated into English and published in the United States. For more information on the prize, see the Barrios Prize page

This prize accepts digital submissions. Please submit using the NBCC Submission Form and check “Yes” in response to the question “Is this a translated work?”.
